The Michigan Chamber of Commerce announced today that Sal Rocca, candidate for the State House in the 30th District, has received its endorsement for the 2000 Election.
"Sal Rocca is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO James Barrett. "He is pro-business, pro-jobs and pro- taxpayer. His position on the issues, his deep commitment to helping the people in his district and his experience as an elected official will make him a great State Representative."
The current State Representative is ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.
The 30th House District includes the northern two-thirds of Sterling Heights in Macomb County.
"Job creators here and across the state look to the Michigan Chamber as a leading voice on business issues," said Sal Rocca. "I am pleased to receive their endorsement and their confidence."
The Michigan Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 7,000 businesses, local chambers of commerce, and trade associations. With members of every size and type in all 83 Michigan counties, the Michigan Chamber represents a broad cross-section of the state's economy.NewsCom: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20000320/DEM039
