"Tom Meyer is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO James Barrett. "He is pro-business, pro-jobs and pro- taxpayer. His position on the issues, his deep commitment to helping the people in his district and his business experience will make him a great State Representative."

The current State Representative is ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits. The 84th House District includes Tuscola and Huron Counties in Michigan's thumb area.

"Job creators here and across the state look to the Michigan Chamber as a leading voice on business issues," said Tom Meyer. "I am pleased to receive their endorsement and their confidence."

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 7,000 businesses, local chambers of commerce, and trade associations. With members of every size and type in all 83 Michigan counties, the Michigan Chamber represents a broad cross-section of the state's economy.
