"Patricia Gibbons is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO James Barrett. "She is pro-business, pro-jobs and pro-taxpayer. Her involvement and experience in local government will make her a great State Representative."

The current State Representative is ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.

The 18th House District includes most of the city of Westland and a portion of Canton township in Wayne County.

"Job providers here and across the state look to the Michigan Chamber as a leading voice on business issues," said Patricia Gibbons. "I am pleased to receive their endorsement and their confidence."

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 7,000 businesses, local chambers of commerce, and trade associations. With members of every size and type in all 83 Michigan counties, the Michigan Chamber represents a broad cross-section of the state's economy.
