Andy Anuzis to Head Michigan Chamber's Issue Advocacy Program

Andy Anuzis has joined the Michigan Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director of Issue Advocacy. In his new role, Anuzis will implement a comprehensive issue advocacy campaign dealing with Michigan's business climate. He will supervise fundraising, conduct research and implement the advertising and grassroots strategies needed to convey pro- business messages to Michigan residents. He will have no responsibilities related to lobbying.

Anuzis came to the Michigan Chamber from Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan, where he served as Executive Vice President since 1993. Prior to joining Associated Builders and Contractors, Anuzis served as Director of the Senate Majority Communications Office. Anuzis holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn.
