The Michigan Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of nine members of Congress who are seeking re-election on November 7, 2006.
The nine Congressional incumbents are: Pete Hoekstra (2nd District); Vern Ehlers (3rd District); Dave Camp (4th District); Fred Upton (6th District); Joe Schwarz (7th District); Mike Rogers (8th District); Joe Knollenberg (9th District); Candice Miller (10th District); and Thad McCotter (11th District).
"The Michigan Chamber's support for nine members of our Congressional Delegation is based on the voting records with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Bob LaBrant, Senior Vice President of Political Affairs for the Michigan Chamber. "With these strong candidates, Michigan has the opportunity to return a delegation to Washington, D.C., that strongly supports job creation and economic growth."
