Tricia Kinley Joins Michigan Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Team

Tricia G. Kinley has joined the Michigan Chamber of Commerce's Business Advocacy Team as Director of Tax Policy and Economic Development. As a full-time lobbyist for the statewide business organization, Kinley will be responsible for handling a wide range of key legislative and regulatory issues. Kinley will be responsible for handling some Chamber tax policy initiatives, such as unclaimed property, tax simplification, and strengthening taxpayer rights. She will also be responsible for various economic issues, such as unemployment insurance.

Kinley previously served as Director of Public Policy for the Detroit Regional Chamber. Prior to joining the Detroit Regional Chamber, Kinley served as Government Affairs Coordinator for the American Society of Employers. Kinley holds a bachelor's degree in arts and sciences from Ohio University.

The addition of Kinley brings the total number of registered lobbyists at the Michigan Chamber to eight.

The Michigan Chamber is a statewide business organization representing approximately 7,000 employers, trade associations and local chambers of Commerce. The Michigan Chamber was established in 1959 to be an advocate for Michigan's job providers in the legislative, political and legal process.
