"Fred Gallagher is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO James Barrett. "He is pro-business, pro-jobs and pro-taxpayer. His position on the issues, his deep commitment to helping the people in his district and his business experience will make him a great State Representative."

Gallagher is challenging the incumbent State Representative who is seeking re-election but only scored a 48% on the Michigan Chamber's Job Providers Index.

The 57th House District includes all of Lenawee County in southern Michigan except for Macon Township.

"Job providers here and across the state look to the Michigan Chamber as a leading voice on business issues," said Fred Gallagher. "I am pleased to receive their endorsement and their confidence."

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 7,000 businesses, local chambers of commerce, and trade associations. With members of every size and type in all 83 Michigan counties, the Michigan Chamber represents a broad cross-section of the state's economy.
