Michigan Chamber of Commerce and State Representative Marc Shulman To Announce Results of Statewide Public Opinion Survey On How to Deal with the State Budget Deficit

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce and State Representative Marc Shulman will hold a news conference on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at 9:30 a.m. in Rep. Shulman's office, Room 351 in the State Capitol building. The purpose of the news conference is to review and discuss the results of a comprehensive statewide public opinion survey on taxes, spending and the state budget deficit. The survey was conducted for the Michigan Chamber and Rep. Shulman by Mitchell Research & Communications, Inc., East Lansing, during the same time period Governor Granholm held a series of budget forums across the state.
