The Michigan Chamber of Commerce announced today that Tricia Kinley will rejoin the statewide business organization as Senior Director of Tax & Regulatory Reform effective January 17.

Kinley served as Director of Tax & Budget Policy for the Michigan Chamber from 2001-2008. Kinley was one of Lansing’s top lobbyists while she was a member of the Chamber staff. Kinley joined Johnson & Johnson in January 2009 where she worked successfully on legislative and regulatory issues for Johnson & Johnson in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin.   

“We are very pleased to welcome Tricia back to the Michigan Chamber’s Business Advocacy Team,” said Michigan Chamber President & CEO Rich Studley. “With her multi-state experience in the private sector, combined with her experience at the Michigan Chamber, Tricia will further strengthen the Chamber’s already effective business advocacy efforts.”

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business organization representing approximately 6,800 employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce. The Michigan Chamber represents businesses of every size and type in all 83 counties of the state. The Chamber was established in 1959 to be an advocate for Michigan’s job providers in the legislative, political and legal process. It is one of only four state chambers of commerce in the nation accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
