The Michigan Chamber of Commerce announced today that Susy Avery, candidate for the University of Michigan Board of Regents has received its endorsement for the 2000 election.

"Susy Avery will be an excellent Regent for the University of Michigan," said Michigan Chamber President & CEO James Barrett. "Her commitment to higher education, her community service and her experience in government and politics, make her the best candidate for the job."
