The Michigan Association of REALTORS® and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce will announce the launch of a TV ad campaign attacking Governor Granholm's proposed 2% excise tax on services at a media briefing to be held on March 12, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, 600 S. Walnut St., Lansing.

The 30-second TV spot, which will begin airing on Monday, highlights some of the many services the administration wants to tax -- which will result in a $1.4 billion tax increase on families and job providers.

Speaking at the media briefing will be: Brad Ward, Director of Public Policy and Legal Affairs for the Michigan Association of REALTORS® and Tricia Kinley, Director of Tax Policy & Economic Development for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
