The Michigan Chamber of Commerce announced today its endorsement of Brian Palmer (R-Romeo) in his bid for election to the 32nd House District in Macomb County.

"Brian Palmer is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President & CEO Jim Barrett. "He is pro business, pro jobs and pro taxpayer. His position on the issues combined with his experience in business and politics will make him a great State Representative."

There is a vacancy in the 32nd House seat due to the election of former State Representative Alan Sanborn to the State Senate.

Mr. Palmer emerged victorious from a field of eight candidates in the January 29th Special Primary Election. The Special General Election will be held on February 26th.

The 32nd House District includes the townships of Armada, Bruce, Ray, Richmond, Shelby and Washington and the cities of Richmond and Utica and a portion of Memphis in northwest Macomb County.
