Doug Roberts, Jr. Joins Michigan Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Team

Doug Roberts, Jr. has joined the Michigan Chamber of Commerce's Business Advocacy Team as Director of Environmental & Regulatory Affairs. As a full-time lobbyist for the statewide business organization, Roberts will be responsible for handling a wide range of key environmental and regulatory issues, such as water quality, land use and growth management, and electric utility restructuring. Roberts will be responsible for staffing the Chamber's standing committee on Environmental Quality. Roberts replaces Kevin Korpi, who was recently appointed Executive Director of the newly formed Michigan Forest Products Council.

Roberts holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Hope College, and an M.P.A. degree in Public Policy and Administration from Michigan State University. He most recently served as a policy advisor to the Michigan House of Representatives.
