The Michigan Chamber of Commerce today announced that Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land has received its endorsement in her bid for re-election.
"Secretary Land is committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible by delivering the most cost-effective and efficient services possible," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO Jim Barrett. "She believes that effective government thinks creatively and is open to exploring alternatives to the standard ways of doing business."
Barrett added that Terri Lynn Land, as the State's chief election officer, has also fought to preserve the integrity of our electoral process and worked to increase voter participation.
"Terri Lynn Land has proven, through her accomplishments, that she deserves to be re-elected to the Office of Secretary of State," Barrett stated.
The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business organization representing approximately 6,900 employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce. The Michigan Chamber of Commerce was established in 1959 to be an advocate for Michigan's job providers in the legislative, political and legal process.
