The Michigan Chamber of Commerce announced today that Barb VanderVeen, candidate for the State House in the 89th District, has received its endorsement for the 2000 Election.

"Barb VanderVeen is a candidate of the highest quality," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO James Barrett. "She is pro-business, pro-jobs and pro-taxpayer. Her involvement and experience in business and education and her position on the issues will make her a great State Representative."
The current State Representative is ineligible to run for re-election due to term limits.
The 89th House District includes numerous townships and the cities of Coopersville, Ferrysburg and Grand Haven in Ottawa County.
