Mark Davidoff Elected Treasurer Of The Michigan Chamber Of Commerce

LANSING, Mich., May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Davidoff, Michigan Managing Partner, Deloitte LLP, has been elected Treasurer of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.

As Treasurer, Davidoff joins the Chamber's Executive Committee which, along with the Chamber's 84-member Board of Directors, establishes Michigan Chamber policy and priorities on economic issues that affect job creation and business growth in Michigan.

Davidoff joined Deloitte's Detroit office in 2005 after serving in various roles at nonprofit organizations including CFO for Mercy Services for Aging, and CFO and later Executive Director/COO for the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Davidoff is currently Deloitte's top leader in the state, overseeing more than 1,000 professionals based in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Midland.  He is a CPA licensed to practice in Michigan. 

Davidoff replaces David Sowerby, CFA and Vice President at Loomis, Sayles & Company, LP, Bloomfield Hills, who served as Treasurer of the Michigan Chamber for the past 10 years.  

The Michigan Chamber's 11-member Executive Committee is comprised of a Board Chair (Parlberg), President (Studley), Treasurer (Davidoff) and Immediate Past Chair Rodney M. Lockwood, Chairman & CEO, The Lockwood Companies, Bingham Farms. In addition, the Executive Committee includes seven vice chairs, each representing a different geographic region.
