LANSING, Mich., April 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling it a great day for the entire state, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce today expressed optimism about the state's economic future with the announcement that a key federal permit required to construct the New International Trade Crossing (NITC) has been approved.

"Approval of the Presidential Permit to proceed with construction of the NITC is great news for Michigan," said Michigan Chamber President and CEO Rich Studley.
